Sophia Symeou, CEO

CEO of INS, Sophia Symeou, is the driving force behind the company’s success. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sector. In fact, Sophia created Australia’s first in-house public service HR consultancy service. In her years at INS, she has helped organisations achieve multi-million-dollar savings. Adam Aaron, Learning and Development Manager

Adam has worked extensively across the public and private sectors designing and delivering workshops for diverse client bases. His workshops are inclusive, engaging and fun, developing strengths through activities built on self-realisation. They create self-confidence and challenge and change mindsets by drawing upon unique IP. They consistently receive excellent evaluations and feedback and lead to improved business outcomes. Adam is also a ‘Bartie’ award-winning writer whose work has featured in 47 festivals, across 8 countries, and received 25 awards.

David White, Development and Innovation

David is an accomplished IT Leader with expertise across a variety of IT functions. He brings over 18 years’ experience delivering IT value, management consulting, and business transformation in large organisations, across industries including telco, government, and digital startups. He has managed architecture, project, and PMO teams using both internal and vendor team members. David has consulted to and managed programmes delivering new digital services and business capabilities, while building strong stakeholder relationships and pragmatic outcomes. David thinks strategically and is analytical and collaborative when problem-solving, focusing on how to achieve the big picture in each action.

Kellie Grant, Human Resources Manager

Kellie is a qualified, results focused Human Resources professional with extensive experience in managing all aspects of the end-to-end HR function. She has expertise in coaching and mentoring managers on HR solutions to meet and exceed organisational requirements. Kellie has a proven ability to successfully manage a substantial workload of competing priorities, while ensuring compliance in HR systems, processes and procedures. She has demonstrated excellent communication skills with a well-developed ability to provide recommendations on change initiatives to medium and large public sector agencies, and maintaining a sense of calm in fast-paced environments.

Laura Fisher, Mobility Pathway Manager

As a qualified psychotherapist, Laura is heavily involved in overseeing the complex design of Assessment Analysis for INS clients. Working collaboratively with content developers, Laura ensures that assessments are based on and aligned with, the relevant Capability Framework and reflects the challenges and accountabilities of the diverse roles. Laura has been instrumental in establishing our current Assessment Centre designed to evaluate over 1,000 employees over an 18-month period. Laura is also heavily involved in the comprehensive induction program provided to each employee who are referred to INS services.

Maria Frangeskou, Mobility Pathway Director

Maria is a Human Resources professional with comprehensive experience in providing services to a diverse workforce, often during challenging circumstances. With over 30 years in structural efficiency, change management and transformation, Maria’s deep understanding of the public sector and extensive experience bring a unique expertise to INS.

Symone Catalano, Support Services Manager

Symone is a vital part of the operations at INS and is a well-respected supervisor and manager. She has sound experience in retail customer service excellence and commercial office administration. Symone epitomises INS values with her warm and grounded approach to people and business practices. Symone has been with INS since day one and has streamlined internal processes to provide strong support to our teams and clients. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to facilitate positive experiences for everyone who comes through our doors, enabling a productive and harmonious work environment for our staff, clients and their teams.

Tom Mitchell, Product Development and Innovation

Tom is a results driven people manager with experience servicing both private and the Public Sector clients . Adaptable in nature, Tom has demonstrated success in managing high pressure and complex environments in the employment and training industry. He has extensive experience in managing high performing teams while thinking on his feet to strategically innovate or streamline processes that increase organisational outcomes.
